Sarah Berry joined Acting and Communication Academy at the beginning of 2019 teaching Musical Theatre across all ages.

In 2020, Sarah is increasing her presence at the Acting and Communication academy tutoring young performers in, Musical Theatre (group and individual), Acting and Communication with more availability.

Her fun, exciting and engaging classes have entertained our youngest musical theatre performers with our 2020 enrolments reaching near capacity within the first week of enrolments opening.

Miss Sarah has a passion for teaching young performers, saying she “loves seeing the students faces light up when they confidently step out of their comfort zone. It’s magical!”

Sarah relocated to Sydney to study acting at the New York Film Academy, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (Music Theatre) at Federation University in Sydney.

“I love telling stories!By sharing stories, we learn to walk in other people’s shoes. I enjoy working in a supportive team environment,” said Miss Sarah

“With musical theatre we spend a little more time learning to tell stories through music and movement. We will learn some singing technique, a song and dance routine, as well as how to build a character.”

Sarah is leading and directing a team of young performers in the Riverside Festival this year. The group is meeting on Tuesday evenings in the MLC Drama Theatre.  This is an exciting opportunity for all young performers to learn and experience working in a professional theatre. Don’t let your daughter or son… we take boys too! miss this opportunity.
